Food Vendors

Welcome

We would like to make a special welcome to our band of food vendors who feed over 30,000 people during the weekend. We realize that this is an enormous task, but do encourage you all to provide sufficient stock for the weekend.

Food Types

The North Texas Irish Festival is an ethnic festival that focuses on the heritage of the major Celtic nations; Ireland, Scotland, Wales etc. Although we do not insist that all vendors offer traditional Celtic foods, we do require that they offer more than just hot-dogs and hamburgers. Ethnic foods from all continents are welcome.

Due to our contract with our Fair Park Concessionaire, all menu items must be approved prior to acceptance. Please submit a full menu with your application.

Opening Hours

Although the Festival will open to the public on Friday, March 2nd, food service will be limited to our one Master Concessionaire.

All other food vendors will be expected to be open for business on Saturday at 10:00 am and Sunday at 11:00 am. No vehicles will be allowed into the festival grounds during opening hours, or until the last guests have cleared the esplanade on Sunday evening.

Booth Sizes and Descriptions

Food Vendor areas will again be restricted to the central esplanade between the Automobile and Centennial buildings. We are making some small changes to the layout, but in general the site will look very much the same.

We can accommodate a variety of booth shapes and sizes and our Concession Manager will be pleased to assist you with your specific needs.

Deposits and Fees

A refundable deposit is required for all food vendors. All food vendors will be required to pay 25% of all sales receipts, net of sales tax, to the City of Dallas and an additional 5% to the Southwest Celtic Music Association. Payment of applicable sales tax is the responsibility of the vendor.

All sales will be through the use of $1 coupons, available from the festival sales booths. Vendors will be redeemed for all receipts, less fees due, within 10 days of the close of the event.

How to apply

Complete the vendor application, sign and mail with all fees (2 checks) to:

Attention Food Concession Manager
